Heading:Portfolio Administrator
Description:The Portfolio Administrator reports to the Manager, Portfolio Administration and as a part of the administration team, is responsible for ensuring that portfolio info can be efficiently sourced, processed and accurately communicated. In support of these responsibilities, the Administrator designs and implements info-collection, storage, processing and reporting tools and spearheads new processes and IT solutions. The administration team ensures external managers’ compliance with contracts in respect of such items as capital funding, profit allocations, manager compensation, and reporting obligations. The team reviews the quality and content of info and reports from external managers, reconciles discrepancies and recommends improvements where necessary or prudent. In addition, the team creates records and monitors details in respect of securities received as “in-kind distributions” from private equity funds including holding locations, details of restrictive covenants, and cost and value info.
